Morning Weigh-In
So this morning before my shower I get on the scale only to discover that going to the gym really has paid off somewhere in the range of 5-10 pounds. I have to say a range because I always keep the scale a little below zero (it makes a girl feel better ya' know?) so I resigned myself to say five pounds, which is still a great accomplishment. But then I was sitting here eating my orange cream whipped yogurt (which is actually pretty good) and I thought, well I can't subtract what the scale really reads this morning from what the scale should have read last time because that's inaccurate. Now, though, as it is still early in the morning and I only managed to get four hours of sleep last night, this concept has confused me again. I'm sticking with the range, it works.
Oh yea, and it's a pretty good hair day too (or at least it was before my long walk down the hill to the office). Why is it in the movies when Kate Hudson or the SATC girls walk through New York City to get to work or wherever there hair remains perfect? We walk six blocks in the morning from our cars and any semblance of a good hair day is gone.
Also things have blown over in D- land. I'm not mad anymore, he's not mad anymore, we're getting along well. It was nice having the apartment to myself yesterday afternoon though. I watched several cheesy movies that he would never want to see.
Back to the job, far more to do than I will ever have time for.

I here that. I think that there is a conspiracy among scales to each display a different weight. As long as its going down, thats all that matters. velma
