Where is the Moment we needed the most?

First thought of the evening, an e-mail sent today. . .the lovely blue text is the omitted truth from the e-mail

I was talking to my friend, to whom I couldn't tell the real reason I was asking about you because it's important that I leave the connection open, today and he says he knew someone named - at -. Really I was pretty sure you went to - with me because after a failed attempt to find you on myspace T- made me sit in her cube as she did a search for you and that's when we sort of figured out who you are. I mean you know how girls can be after all, expecially when it involves a potential crush. Did you go to -?

The politics of crushes can be so complicated. And not only have I had this fun situation progressing all week, I also had a visitor last night. The whole visit just made me very happy, and unlike other times reminded me of why I sometimes feel the way I do. I mentioned this blog to this friend but just casually and not revealing the site address.

I think that I've overstimulated myself with excitment about things, and now I have a headache.

A Dream is a wish your Heart Makes. . .

I've found that I have a sort of Cinderella like mentality when it comes to work (hence the title here). Take this Wednesday for example, I was thinking about taking the whole day off work, but then I thought, well only if I can get this task finished and have made significant progress on this. Now I know this is actually a very mature and responsible way to handle a situation, but sometimes I really pile it on too. I'll want to take an afternoon off and I'll set all sorts of unreasonable goals for myelf, like changing the entire health care system by noon.

Had a good weekend, went out Saturday night and drank just enough that I was pleasantly drunk by the time I went home. Only talked to one guy who was pronounced by J- and St- to be pompous. He's the one that kept coming over and standing by me and talking to me, I just happened to respond.

On other guy fronts there is someone I have taken a definite liking to, if only I could actually meet him (I do have a coupld of plans for this). We've been e-mailing back and forth for awhile (and no we didn't meet over the internet we know each other through a volunteer thing) and I'm currently waiting for a response.

Now if only my reports would let me finish running them, life would be perfect.
