Simple Kind of Life

Not much to update on right now, I just thought I would write something while I wait for a computer session to open up so I can do actual work. I think once the big department starts to go to lunch I will be able to get in. Even though it's only Wednesday I am gaining the possiblility of having a pretty packed weekend. Saturday morning we have the kids football games and J- will be there so I need to go into super snotty Soccer Mom mode. Have I ever mentioned J- before? She's D- ex and one of the lowest people I have ever met; a user in all manners of using the term. And without even knowing me she has said some foul things about me. All in all should make for an interesting sort of Saturday morning.

Sunday P- mentioned a possibility of being in town. I certainly won't be holding my breath for this to actually happen, but I am excited about the small chance of maybe getting to see him. I think it was February the last time we saw each other. Although I do hope he has cut his hair, because as he was growing it out it just made him look like he had a funny toupee on his head. Not that I could actually tell him.

There is a warehouse sale at Henry Brown and I'm really thinking I want to go. You can look at them at henrybrownbags.com. One of my fellow Leaguers works for them. Prices are going to be 50-75% off and who can resist a deal like that? Guess we'll just wait and see.

I finally got a session so I'll be going back to working now.

Waiting. . .

Waiting is what I have been doing for about a week and a half now. See I've done something that if it works out could be a great change for me. But I have to wait for a phone call before I will know something more definate.

Other then that things have been calm. Except when M- sent an email that caused an uproar amongst my peers last week. Wish I could elaborate more but since I have read so many horror stories of people getting fired for writing work related things in their blogs, I choose to refrain.

I'm reading the new Harry Potter and hope to finish it this afternoon while working the switchboard. For once I'm actually excited about sitting down there for two hours. With only two hundred pages left I should come pretty close to finishing it. As an English major I learned to read a book fairly quickly.

I also am going to try and figure out how to put a guestbook on this thing so maybe people will, well, they will sign it, which seems pretty obvious. If anyone knows how to, feel free to leave me a comment.

Will update if the phone should ring. Should it not I plan to call on Wednesday. If I can stand it that long.
